DreamBig Events : Standard Terms and Conditions

Article 1 - DEFINITIONS

The terms used in these Terms and Conditions for Event Participation have the following meanings unless other written agreements have been made in this respect.
– “Participant” means each natural or legal person who has applied (by himself or herself or through their parent or legal guardian) using a Registration Form to be a participant in the Event and who has paid the relevant fees and expenses for participation in the Event and accepted (in writing or electronically) the Agreement and Waivers associated with the Event.
– “Event” means an organised event consisting of a seminar and online training which are provided through various forms of teaching and methods of implementation (e.g. lecture with chat support, discussion or workshop, live webinar or video course).
– “Registration Form” means the form by which a potential participant applies to be a Participant in the Event.
– “Organisers” means DreamBig Events, a division of Sara Consulting Pte Ltd, a company incorporated in Singapore.

Article 2 - APPLICATION

2.1 A person wishing to participate in the event should submit an application for this purpose. Application to participate should be made using an Online Application Form which is available through the online application page of the Organisers.
2.2 The applicant represents and warrants to the Organisers that the data supplied on the application form, including data about the applicant’s duly authorised representative and contact information, are complete and correct. The applicant shall be solely responsible and liable for any incorrect or incomplete data provided to the Organisers or unauthorised signatures and shall indemnify and hold harmless the Organisers from any losses, damages, claims or liabilities. 
2.3 The Organizer will enter the data obtained from the Applicant in a database kept by them for this purpose. By submitting an application, the Applicant authorises the use and storage of the data supplied by him/her. The Organisers may use this data for the organisation and processing of the Event, as well as publication related purposes through any catalogue, website, newsletter, email alerts or advertisements, for any marketing and cross selling purposes etc. 
2.4 The Organisers reserve the right to refuse an application as they see fit in their sole discretion.

Article 3 - Event FEES

3.1 The Event fees in USD are payable to the Organisers within Five (5) calendar days of receipt of an invoice after acceptance of the application by the Organisers.
3.2 Prices, details and conditions for the Events can be found in the respective descriptions in the company website. 

ARTICLE 4 - CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

4.1 All requests for refunds must be made by email to sales@dreambig.events along with the payment receipt before the entry deadline of 19 April 2020 11:59 PM IST.
4.2 If a cancellation request is received after the entry deadline, no refunds will be provided. We are also unable to issue credit for any future events. 
4.3 The Organiser reserves the right to cancel attendance events up to 4 working days before the appointed time if the minimum number of participants is not reached, unless a different cancellation period is specified in the description in the announcement. If the event is cancelled for this reason or because of the absence of the instructor, force majeure or other unforeseeable events, there is no right to demand that the event be held. Participants shall be informed of the cancellation immediately in writing or via e-mail. Fees already paid will optionally be credited for participation in other events or refunded. Participants shall not assert any other claims against the Organiser.
4.4 If the instructor is absent, the Organiser reserves the right to appoint an equivalent substitute instruction. In this case, there is no entitlement to a refund of participation fees. 

Article 5 - TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATION

5.1 When taking part in a live webinar, each participant must meet the minimum requirements (internet connection, current browser version, download a program from the webinar platform if necessary, speakers or headset) and test these before the webinar.  
5.2 Failure to meet the technical requirements for which the Participant is responsible does not release the Participant from any contractual obligation to pay. In so far as a Participant does not report any technical problems during a webinar and no such notifications are evident from the recording either, participation shall be considered to have taken place.
5.3 If training courses are offered permanently as a recording, the Organiser points out that if may not be possible to access the course e.g. due to maintenance or force majeure.
5.4 The Participant also acknowledges that there may be changes in the event schedule for a variety of reasons, some of which may also be beyond the control of the Organiser. The Organiser reserves the right to change any schedule or part of the schedule without consulting the Participant. The Organiser shall not be held liable or responsible to the Participant or any other person for any such changes.
5.5 Each Participant will comply with the code of conduct that is set out by the Organiser and be fully responsible for all costs and consequences as a result of non-compliance of the same. 
5.6 Each Participant re-acknowledges and re-confirms the terms and conditions of the Agreement and Waiver that was signed electronically at the time of the only registration process.

ARTICLE 6 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

6.1 The content of all events and all materials (webinar documents, recordings that are made available, etc.) are the intellectual property of DreamBig Events or the respective instructor and are protected by copyright. In particular, publication even if only in part, reproduction, distribution and editing are prohibited as is the recording of an event in audio or video by means of screenshots. Legal proceedings may be initiated in the event of any misuse.
6.2 The Participant agrees to respect copyright and only use the live webinars/video courses individually for their own use under the terms of the agreement.
6.3 Webinars may contain links to other websites over the Organiser has no control over. The Organiser makes no representations about the accuracy of information contained on those websites. We are not liable for the content on those websites.

ARTICLE 7 – GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

7.1 These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore. 
7.2  In case of any dispute between the Participant and the Organisers, the courts of Singapore shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to such dispute.
